Stitches From The Ocean (SFTO) is a unique example of experimental storytelling that uses sound exploration, photography, and interactive exhibition design. It is inspired by observing sea waves at the shore and its community, Jamestown.

In these installations, stories from Jamestown are told using audio-visual forms. These installations further experiment with exhibition interactivity through a hybrid medium; analogue for visual, and digital for audio, complementing each other and linked by quick response codes.

The installations were done in two public spaces and one private space, two in communities near the ocean and the other further away. The choice of these locations is also part of the stories being told, one of which is, that the ocean is a technological framework from which we can create. Each location was marked using a code. Shiashie was [1000], Jamestown was [2000] and Lokkohouse was [3000].

The project was further presented to the public using a commemorative form of 50 unique wearable arts, with each individual randomly getting paired with one of fifty instant film images of various stages of the installation process.
