Annertey is an experimental creative and project director for Akutso Design Lab, a multidisciplinary creative lab in Accra, Ghana. The quest to explore new processes and ideas drives him as a creative. He loves to explore vernacular design culture. He also believes in the reuse of older technologies, concepts, and methods. In a century driven by the craving for more recent technologies, he delves into the past and explores some of the techniques used. He then combines them with more contemporary methods to create bodies of work that address the subject matter in his community.
