Annertey is an experimental creative and project director for Akutso Design Lab, a multidisciplinary creative lab in Accra, Ghana. The quest to explore new processes and ideas drives him as a creative. He loves to explore vernacular design culture. He also believes in the reusing of technologies, concepts, and methods. In a century driven by the search for more recent technologies, thereby discarding old ones, he delves into the past, explores various techniques used, and, combined with more contemporary methods, creates bodies of art that address the subject matter in his community.
